DICA DE SKETCHBOOK BARATO/ CHEAP SKETCHBOOK TIP

Oi gente, hoje eu vim trazer uma dica rápida, mas que foi muito eficaz para mim e eu espero que possa ser eficaz também, para quem estiver engajado no mundo da ilustração ou para qualquer um que precise de um sketchbook novo, mesmo que esteja com o orçamento um pouco apertado.

Há algumas semanas atrás, percebi que meus papéis estavam acabando e que já havia usando quase todo os cadernos de rascunhos que eu tinha. Decidi que precisava de um novo, sai em busca de um novo sketchbook. Na realidade, eu buscava por um tipo específico, com gramatura acima de 200 para testar vários outros materiais nele. Não foi nada fácil encontrar um sketchbook com as peculiaridades que eu buscava e que fosse compatível com meu orçamento. Naquele momento, optei por comprar uma resma de folhas da filipaper de gramatura 320. Mesmo assim, a vontade mesmo era poder ter um caderno de rascunhos novo, principalmente pela facilidade de levar para onde quer que eu fosse sem muito constrangimento, até porque ficar andando com a resma inteira não seria o ideal.

O valor da resma de papel da filipaper de gramatura 320 saiu por um total de 16,50R$. Ao chegar em casa eu recebi, de algumas pessoas, a sugestão de assistir um tutorial para montar meu próprio sketchbook, de forma caseira e manual, um clássico DIY (do it yourself = faça você mesmo). Depois de assistir vários desses tutoriais, para ver qual eu mais me adequava, percebi que não teria a paciência necessária para passar horas montando um daqueles lindos sketchbooks caseiros. Tive uma ideia e decidi testá-la.

seguem-se a seguir os passos dessa marmota:

1. Dobrei cada folha da resma ao meio, formando meia página com 4 lados.

2. Repeti esse processo com as trinta folhas da resma, fazendo com que a quantidade de folhas duplicasse, mas em um tamanho reduzido comparando-se com seu tamanho real.

3. Em seguida, alinhei todas as folhas dobradas, lado a lado, sem cortá-las ao meio(corte é opcional mas leva mais tempo).

4. Levei a uma gráfica e pedi que as encadernasse

5. Dividi as folhas em duas pilhas com 15 folhas, que dobradas davam um total de 30 folhas em cada pilha.

6. As folhas foram encadernadas em dois sketchbooks de 30 folhas e de mesmo tamanho, com capa,contra-capa e costa. O total da encadernação, na gráfica que eu fui, ficou por 5,00R$ reais por cada caderno, logo 10R$ reais pois foram dois cadernos.

Nas fotos a seguir tem o resultado dos meus novos livros de rascunhos. Fiquei bem feliz com o resultado. O valor mínimo que eu havia encontrado de um sketchbook, com uma boa gramatura, estava por um valor de 45,00 reais. O total de gasto que eu tive com essa estratégia me custou um total de 26,50(Resma + Encadernação).

Hi guys, today I came to bring a quick tip, but that was very effective for me and I hope it can be effective  too, for anyone who is engaged in the illustration world or for anyone who needs a new sketchbook, even if your budget is a bit tight.

A few weeks ago, I realized that my papers were ending and that I had already used almost all of the sketchbooks I had. I decided that I needed a new one, I went out in a search for a new sketchbook. In fact, I was looking for a specific type, with thickness above 200 to test various other materials on it. It was not easy to find a sketchbook with the peculiarities that I was looking for and that was compatible with my budget. At that moment, I decided to buy a ream of filipaper sheets of 320 gram. Even so, the desire was to be able to have a new sketchbook, especially for the ease of taking it wherever I went without much embarrassment, with the whole ream would not be ideal.

The value of the filipaper ream of paperweight 320 left for a total of $ 16.50. When I got home I received from some people the suggestion of watching a tutorial to build my own sketchbook, in a homemade and manual way, a classic DIY (do it yourself). After watching several of these tutorials, to see which one suited me best, I realized that I would not have the patience to spend hours on one of those beautiful homemade sketchbooks. I had an idea and decided to test it.

Here were the steps I took:

1. I folded each ream sheet in half, forming half page with 4 sides.

2. I repeated this process with the thirty leaves of the ream, making the number of leaves double, but in a reduced size compared to their actual size.

3. Next, I lined up all the folded sheets side by side, without cutting them in half (cut is optional but takes longer).

4. I took them to a print shop and asked them to bind the papers

5. I Divided the sheets into two 15-sheet stacks, which folded gave a total of 30 sheets in each stack.

6. The sheets were bound in two 30-sheet sketchbooks of the same size, with cover, back cover, and strand. The total of the bookbinding, in the graph that I went, was for $ 5,00R$ for each notebook, then 10R $ real because they were two notebooks.

In the photos you can check the results of my new draft books. I was very happy with the result. The minimum amount that I had found of a sketchbook, with a good weight, was in the amount of 45,00R$. The total expense I had with this strategy cost me a total of 26,50 (Paper Pack + Binding).
